X86 Infrastructure Architect, China
Job Description
• Architect level position within IBM Global Technology Service department
• Provide in-depth technical expertise and X86 Infrastructure knowledge to project delivery
• Interface with project deliver team and final customer to provide professional advice in X86 Infrastructures
• Work closely with sales team and help give advice on solution
• Contribute to technical knowledge base through publishing technical deliverable documentation and/or providing training sessions
Required Skills
• 7+ years IT working experience, solid background of X86 system
• Experience on X86 platform virtualization, VMware with VCP certification is a must, Xen, KVM or Citrix knowledge is a plus
• Familiar with operating systems like Windows server and Linux server, AIX skill is a plus
• Familiar with IBM X Series Server or HP DL Series Server
• Experience on high availability skill like MSCS or RHCS
• Have knowledge of network and storage, Experience on cloud computing is a plus
• Complex project delivery experience is a must, previous experience in customer engagements is a plus
• Good teamwork, excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Good oral and written English
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology
At least 5 years experience in VMware, cloud architect
