DIAS (Data Integration & Analytics Services) team is a rapid growing-up team in GTS Development Lab. This team is supporting CIO value chain applications which created significant contribution to business. Currently this team focuses on the design and implementation of internal Operational Data Store, Data Warehouse/Data Mart, Decision Support System, Customer Support Data Warehouse and provides the full life-cycle BI solutions (from Data to Application) for CIO office. In this team, you will have great opportunities of working with senior Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence professionals and plenty of chances of learning leading edge DW & BI technologies. Job Description / Responsibilities
The candidates will work for one of the following projects:
ODS (Operational Data Store)
CSDW (Customer Support Data Warehouse)
ODS project is used by Software Group for managing, consolidating, and recording financial entries. The primary upstream interfaces are with the Distributed Software (DSW) SAP and Web applications, however the applications serve as a data repository for multiple downstream Software Group data warehouses and data marts.
CSDW project focuses on the establishment and maintenance of the Customer Support Data Warehouse which is the data foundation to provide customer supports.
We are looking for great talents who will be responsible for:
- Develop ETL related projects based on DataStage.
- Develop BI related projects based on Cognos.
- Develop BA related projects based on SPSS.
- Contribute to project design & specification documents, participate in design reviews.
- Compose proper development & test plans to ensure the high quality.
- Closely work with worldwide architects and tech leads.
Job Requirements (skills/experiences)
Skills requirement
- Good knowledge of Data Warehouse & Business Intelligence knowledge and project experiences
- Strong skill of business requirement analysis and technical solution design
- Good knowledge of Database systems and SQL programming
- Unix/Linux Knowledge and script programming
- Familiar with DataStage & Cognos
- Good knowledge of Java, J2EE, XML, Web Services, etc
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
