Job Description
General Parallel File System™ (GPFS™) powers many of Top 500 largest scientific super-computers in the world as well as commercial applications requiring high-speed access to large volume of data such as digital media, engineering design, business intelligence, financial Analytics and so on... It was designed to support multi-petabyte of storage and over 8000 disks within a single file system. As a shared disk file system, GPFS can provide every cluster node with concurrent read/write access to a single file.
The CSTL GPFS team is seeking for talented software engineers who are expected to be part of the world wide GPFS team and get involved in GPFS core components design and development.
The candidate should have:
- Excellent c, c++ developing skill
- Excellent communication skill and good team-work spirit. Good verbal and technical writing in English.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating system
- At least 3+ years of software development experience
- Work well in a team environment
- Great passion for the business. Have strong ownership and problem solving skills.
