Job Description An experienced IT project manager, close to the business, capable to initiate, lead and deliver successful projects that are the basis for excellent IT delivery services. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure that work is not performed outside of contracted scope without appropriate change order documentation accepted by the client. Responsible for maintaining out of scope requests and working with the client and account team to develop those requests into additional IBM business.
- Maintain a complete project schedule which identifies all project tasks, resources, progress against those tasks and project schedule performance against baseline.
- Provide status reports as requested to the client and IBM Services management
- Meet the project delivery KPIs
- Manage subcontractor with procurement and fulfillment team. Service Partner recruiting, development, maintain.
- Continue enhance the project management process to improve the maturity level"
- Manage and maintain project cost monitoring, budget and forecasting
- High level monitoring of operational services to identify issues and initiate actions to resolve.
- Perform project evaluations and transform lessons learned to ready to implement improvements.
- Business travel of approximately 50 percent yearly is expected for this position.
- Attend Project Reviews as requested by Project Management Office. Job-Specific Authority and Scope: - Generally works without consulting their manager.
- Independent decisions are made daily.
- Examples of typical decisions without manager consultation:
- Determine ability of solution to meet requested client expectations.
- Determine appropriate escalation of issues.
- Decisions made daily with regards to project management for each specific project assigned.
- Typically does not manage a budget. Required Skills - IBM related product skill.
- Project management methodologies .PMP is a plus.
- ITIL knowledge and own ability to build and implement the framework / processes into operation
- Equip with enough tech. knowledge so as to make the right decisions
- Strategy thinking and problem analysis with presentation skills
- Fluent English speaking and writing Required At least 5 years experience in IBM related product skill
