Job description
1.  IT Strategy & Design Consulting Practice Leader (PL) is responsible for the overall vitality of the practice (signings, revenue, profit, utilization, and down stream opportunities) and linkage between the Practice and Sales/Delivery organizations in the geo. The PL will have the same assignments and measurements as the APL. The PL role will be established as practice growth warrants.
2.  Associate Practice Leader (APL) manages the relationship with specific clients and is responsible for defining, developing, and delivering transformational solutions to those clients. The APL is assigned by Industry and may also provide SL expertise. The APL oversees education and development for the Practice resources.
3.  Each APL will have a team of up to 7 Consultants and Architects to scope solutions based on customer need. These resources may be fenced or used from a pool depending on the geography’s implementation.
4.  The APL will engage ISRs and SMEs to develop and deliver specific engagements as part of overall transformational efforts at a client. 
Financial Requirements:
1.  The PL / APL is responsible for practice signings, revenue, profit, utilization and downstream opportunities
2.  Each PL / APL will be assigned a minimum annual signings target that is comparable to the ICRs
3.  The signings targets includes IT S&D Consulting Services and resulting 4x downstream activity
Revenue, profit and utilization targets will be set by each IOT/IMT
Requirements
Sales and Revenue:
History of achieving financial performance targets for selective accounts.
Good Negotiator/Influencer: Makes and closes deals or supports deal closing on big bids ; Strong selling and client relationship management skills
Business Mindset: Thinks like C-Suite executive; Understands key business processes with focus on business outcomes; Focuses on winning deals, new customers, and markets; Collaborates with industry leaders, partners, solution/service leaders to pursue signings
Competitive Zeal: Demonstrates self-confidence, assertiveness, perseverance, and resiliency (bounces back from failure); Exhibits passion for new account potentials
Delivery:
Manages the practitioners (former people manager), subs, client team.
Operational and Execution Excellence: Establishes process discipline and rigor; Appreciates and attends to the systems required to drive accountability and execution; Strong planning and organizing skills
Customer Intimacy: Instills in clients a sense of confidence, trust and credibility; has strong executive contacts and access to the C-Suite; Builds and sustains strong, long-term relationships
Integrator: Leverages the company's technology; Aggregates our pieces into holistic business solution; possesses technology acumen to see solution possibilities
Subject Matter Expertise:
Market Insight: Anticipates where market and applicable industries are heading
Recognized as a leader in a specific competency by practice members and client; IBM certification
Establishes external network (e.g. professional societies, organizations or standards bodies)
People Leadership Skills:
Motivator: team leadership, Energy, Impact, Communication Skills
Experience in managing a practice or team.
Collaborative Leader - Sees no boundaries. Involves and influences the rest of the company to support key customer opportunities. Reaches out and utilizes established networks
