Development Lead for UNIX Tools on z  

Job description
- Greater China Systems & Technology Lab is seeking development/test leaders to join the NEW System z Software Development organization responsible for design, code development and test of z/OS and other System z software products. This team is an integral part of the System z global team and these are technically challenging and high growth opportunities. In addition, Greater China is a major contributor for Mainframe revenue and new footprints in the growth markets and our technical team will support this continued strategy.

Required Skills
1. Strong UNIX/Linux skills and experience is very critical to this role together with solid technical leadership in IBM product development organization
2. Capacity to lead a 10+ developer/L3 working on UNIX tools on z component with full ownership after transition period
3. Solid experience in leading IBM software product development following IPD process and familiar with QSE best practice
4. Excellent communication skills working with world wide team, in both English and Chinese.
5. Strong C/C++ development skills on UNIX/Linux environment
