Job description
OEM Storage New Pursuit BDE will be responsible for identifying and driving new revenue opportunities, cultivating customer relationships and closing business for both private label OEM, and for opportunities for incorporating IBM storage products in industry equipment provider offerings in areas including telecommunications, healthcare equipment, video surveillance, energy/utilities, etc. BDE will drive opportunities for both direct contracted sales, as well as through indirect OEM channel partners. Responsibility includes attaining revenue, profit and customer satisfaction objectives.
Candidates are sought with experience in storage sales, strong knowledge of competition (EMC, NetApp, including competitive work experience, and in industries utilizing embedded IT equipment.

Ability to call on C-level executives and articulate a solid business proposition
Professional communication skills, teaming and work methods
Successful sales experience, with solid storage competency
Experience in competitive sales and/or targeted industry solution areas
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 10 years experience in Business Development and Sales
