Job Description
System Architect - Storage Infrastructure Optimization (SIO) Consultant is expected to gain share and helps accumulate client satisfaction in the competitive accounts, drive our  and allied BU revenue in key & future growing areas with SIO Consulting approach, value solution and best practise on storage solutions/services, and create the innovative reusable assets for technical community.
Responsibility
• Lead Storage Infrastructure Optimization consulting workshops
• Manage client relationship with key accounts top management team
• Identify, analyze and prioritize clients’ business and technical issues, help ISU/STG sales team identify and qualify system storage related opportunities
• Supervise the quality of SIO project deliverables and monitor the project risks
• Conduct benchmarking studies and identify industry best practices
• Lead SIO proposal development and promotion of target clients
• Contribute to the thought leadership and strategic direction on the firm’s SIO references and replicable assets with value solutions and best practise
• Network with service team to maximize the value created for client engagements
Required Skills
• Minimum of 3 years (5 years required for Band 9 candidate) consulting experience in storage projects, or equivalent 5 (10 years required for Band 9 candidate) years of IT planning & management experience in large industrial companies
• 5+ years (10+ years required for Band 9 candidate) experience in developing technical solutions for IT infrastructure projects, especially for the experience on High-end storage, SAN and Unix OS, familiar with HA, Virtualization & Cloud, BC/DR Solutions
• Hands-on skill and experience on Unix system and storage is a plus
• Bachelor degree or above, top universities as plus
• IT Experiences within two to three industries like Banking, Telecom, Government, Ind/Distribution , GB or Pubic are preferred
• Rich client-facing experience and skills, demonstrated experience/skills on requirements definition, client proposal creation, client/executive presentations, design, implementation
• Good understand of IT hot trends like virtualization & cloud solution, IT service automation
• Acquired sales techniques for competitive business
