Job description The successful candidate will be responsible for: Developing and managing the BPM solution-led business relationship between company and its large clients, acting as a trusted business advisor and providing solutions to their business needs.
Maintaining a thorough understanding of assigned industry segment, identifying opportunities, leading cross functional sales teams and utilizing appropriate routes to market which align with the Clients' buying patterns and maximize profitability.
Selling of BPM products and services for the assigned industry as well as responsible for total customer satisfaction, market share, and IBM revenue within their client base.
Prioritising sales engagements into clients within the selected industry based on expected revenue return and other key qualification criteria
Acting as BPM sales for the designated industry, developing and executing sales initiatives to improve NC performance in that industry
Actively manage a viable pipeline of opportunities and client engagements to ensure delivery of quarterly revenue objectives.
Accurately forecast expected business results.
Teaming with the larger IBM on critical sales opportunities, driving development of industry references, leveraging on resources, working with Business Partners to ensure eco-system is strong
The successful candidate must have a strong client centric perspective, proven sales track record and be able to work creatively and independently in an unstructured environment across a broad range of activities. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across GTS, S&D and GBS, as well as at IMT/ GMT levels. This individual should have prior, demonstrated strong leadership skills, be able to communicate effectively at senior management levels and be prepared to work with internal enterprise sales and industry teams to position to clients integrated capabilities represented by SWG offerings, reusable software assets and consulting & delivery services.
At least 8 years in IT / Software sales with established industry skills in certain industries or have sold BPM before.
