Responsibilities
- Report to CEO
- Develop and manage the marketing strategy and budget for China market
- Manage integrated marketing campaigns from inception through execution
- Primary marketing lead for product launches and lifecycle maintenance
- Lead internal team members and agencies where appropriate to execute all communication activities and public relations (marketing materials, advertising, client communications, direct mail, marketing campaigns, press releases, etc.)
- Perform market research with customers and sales teams, assess market dynamics and opportunities, collect competitive intelligence and identify business risks
- Research, identify and develop strategic partnerships that benefit to the company's brand and business growth
- Contributes to the total effectiveness of the China Marketing Department, communicating openly, solving problems proactively, offering creative ideas and working as a positive, engaged team member
Requirements
- University degree, major in business, marketing, communication, or related field
- 10+ years of working experience in marketing function, at least 3 years in manager level
- Extensive marketing experience that includes a combination of brand/product management, market development, market planning/research, marketing communication and sales education/training
- Solid experience in new media or internet marketing
- Detail-oriented, creative, a self starter and digitally savvy
- Superior written and verbal communications skills in Chinese and English, coupled with excellent interpersonal and group communication skills
- Preferred industries: FMCG, IT, or new media
